This product is 100% made in Italy, and every hole in the basket are laser cut individually. This makes the IMS range more precise and narrow than the standard showers. This feature will both slow the initial flow rate of the water and avoid the build up of residual crust behind the screen.
Manufactured as a single piece, the body is strengthened and the surface is completely smooth, we have found this basket to last longer and deliver a more consistent performance over the time.
The main difference in the making of these products compared to normal showers and baskets are:
Standard showers and baskets are "pressed" and the shape of the hole is a pyramid. On the IMS the holes are individually laser cut and the shape is a cone, the shape and internal surface of the holes does not present any sharp corners and is absolutely smooth, making all the fats and grease components of the coffee slide down and avoid obstruction of the holes.
